AND EVER-GROWING REVENUE WITH US

Just a bunch of creatives having a lot of fun creating impactful digital experiences for businesses!

A small agency with a stubborn idea about how marketing should be done

We are a tight team of strategists, designers and ad people who believe most marketing is too loud, too lazy, and not nearly clever enough.

It started, of all places, on a plane to Byron Bay.

Sometime around the second glass of wine, our founder Graziela Oborn struck up a conversation with the stranger in the next seat. The stranger happened to be a friend of a friend. The friend of a friend happened to be looking for someone to run social for her fashion business. And Graziela, fresh out of years inside one of Australia’s biggest fashion labels, happened to be exactly that someone.

By the time the plane landed, she had her first client.

A few years later, she had an agency.

The Digital Dance has grown a fair bit since that flight, but the philosophy has not changed a centimetre. Word of mouth, sharp work, and a real interest in our clients’ businesses are still the only marketing we have ever needed for ourselves.

Small on purpose!

There are fewer than ten of us. Strategist, designer, editor, ad buyer… all senior.

You will not find a junior account manager forwarding your email up the chain. You will find the person actually making the work, sitting on the call.

Small teams move faster. Argue better. Care more!

Strategy beats noise. Every time.

Most agencies build their year around a content calendar. We build ours around a question: what is this work actually meant to do?

Trends are interesting. Data is more interesting. A great idea, sharpened by both, is the whole job. We are allergic to busy work and obsessed with work that moves the line.
